A WORD FROM OUR SENIOR PASTOR

It is my joy and privilege to welcome you to the House of Destiny Family Church, where our mission is to teach the Word of God and bring you to greatness. You have come to a place where you will experience deliverance and holiness; a place where you will ‘possess your possessions’. Obadiah 1:17

It is our fervent belief that you will be translated into a new and higher level of victory as you receive the Word of God. All that God has in store for you shall surely come to pass; you are on your path to a colourful DESTINY. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

OUR SENIOR PASTORS

Senior Pastor Musa Motloung, together with his wife Pastor Dr Zama Motloung, are the founding Pastors of House of Destiny Family Church and have led the church since its establishment in 2011. He is responsible for the vision and overall spiritual direction of the church.

Under their guidance and leadership, HOD (as it is affectionately known) has grown from the 70 people who came to our very first service on the 2nd of October 2011 to hundreds of members attending our 2 in-person services as well as online through our YouTube channel. Pastor Musa believes that the Word should be taught practically, including the application of prayer so that people know what to do whilst awaiting its manifestation.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe in:

One God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), Creator of all things.
That the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
The Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
The resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
The personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
Divine healing, through faith in the name of Jesus Christ and that healing, is included in the Redemption.
Water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.
That all of these are available to believers.

MINISTRIES

We at House of Destiny Family Church understand the pastorate to be of service to God’s children, expressing God’s love and concern for mankind by developing good relationships, offering moral support and making available the opportunity for spiritual counsel and guidance.

We recognise that each of us needs to realize God’s presence and love whether in joyous moments or in the midst of uncertainty. Through our pastoral ministry, we would like to provide any spiritual support you may need: Baby dedication, Baptism, Wedding, Counselling, and Bereavement.
